Product reviews for Franklin TPQ -109 Collins Thesaurus/Speller

Bought as a replacement for existing item for the mother in law..... Just the job..... she is happy and I have brownie points....Thank you Calculators Direct....

Sorry to give such a low rating but have to confess I have been disappointed with this product.  I purchased it mainly as a crossword solver but find it a poor replacement for its predecessor TPQ108. I appreciate there are a lot more facilities on this but it would seem that that only serves to slow down the operation and whilst scrolling through the suggested answers it is continuously stopping after 3-4 words on the clock timer.  I find that most annoying.  Also the older model had a much quicker direct entry into XWORD and the use of the same button on the top row to access X was much more accessible. Personally for me this product is disappointing and I do miss the simplicity of the former model.
